Meet the Team
Experience/specialisms:Patrick qualified as a chartered accountant in 1974. After qualification he had a number of senior finance roles and moved to London in 1981. For a while he was Group Chief Internal Auditor of Taylor Woodrow plc, the international construction company and house builder based in Southall. He set up in practice on his own in Richmond-upon-Thames in 1990 and soon afterwards acquired the Great Bookham practice of Frank Bambury & Co. He disposed of the combined practice in 1994, retaining a few private accountancy and tax clients. Since then he has had senior positions with charities and not-for-profit organisations as well as local and central Government. His last full-time role was as Chief Executive of The Magistrates' Association, which ended in 2012. Patrick is now very much a general practitioner, looking after the business, accounting and taxation affairs of a wide range of clients. Because of his background in the charity/not-for-profit sector he has a special interest in charity accounting. He currently sits on CIPFA's Charity & Social Enterprise Panel and is Hon Treasurer of The Heraldry Society.
Qualifications: Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
